Privacy Policy
Effective June 22, 2026
This page is maintained by Prompt Technologies, Inc. ("we", "us", "Onoma") to explain what information the Onoma website and tool (the "Service") collects, how we use it, and your choices. We aim to collect the minimum we need to run the Service well.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. The briefs, words, and notes you enter while using the Service; account details (such as your email) if you create one; and any messages you send us.
Payment information. If you purchase a plan, payment details are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
Automatically collected information. Basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected through standard server logs and our analytics provider.
2. How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To generate the naming output you request from the Service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to support and legal requests.
- To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting web analytics tool to understand how the Service is used in aggregate (e.g. page views, referrers). Where possible, we use a provider and configuration that avoids cross-site tracking and does not build advertising profiles. We do not use the data to identify individual visitors.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies (and similar storage) to keep you signed in, remember your session, and operate the Service. Analytics, where used, may set first-party identifiers as described above. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.
5. Service providers (subprocessors)
We rely on a small number of vendors to run the Service — for example, cloud hosting, our database/backend platform, our payment processor, our analytics provider, and our AI model provider used to generate naming output. These vendors process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments and only as needed to provide their service. We share information with them only as necessary.
You can request a current list of subprocessors by emailing us.
6. AI processing of your brief
The text you submit (such as your brief and word lists) is sent to our AI model provider to generate name suggestions and rationale. We instruct providers, where supported, not to use your inputs to train their general models. Do not submit information you consider confidential or sensitive personal data.
7. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after to handle legal, tax, and dispute obligations. Session and brief data are retained to let you revisit your past sessions and to operate the Service. You can request deletion of your data as described below.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise these rights, email kevin@searchpromptly.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls on our backend. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the Service or by email.
